Reunited! There were scenes of great joy as Clement Beya, Kimbilio manager, accompanied two teenagers on a flight of over 1000 kilometres from Lubumbashi to their homes near Mwene-Ditu in Kasai Province. These two young people have been with Kimbilio for three years, having left their families in search of a better life - travelling down to Lubumbashi on the backs of lorries. Our reintegration team has taken time to locate their families and ensure that returning home would be a safe and sustainable option. Their families were delighted to see them again. We trust that the education and support that they have received at Kimblio over the last three years will have given them a solid foundation enabling them to thrive back in their home towns.
