Kimbilio is led by a terrific, 3-person management team. Their leadership sets the tone and the path for all the good work done at Kimbilio. Please meet one member of the leadership team, who has been with Kimbilio since 2011 -- Rodrigue Katina. He's on the right with his leadership colleagues below.

Rodrigue is responsible for administration, reintegration and student support at Kimbilio. Back in 2011, he began as a case manager for child identification cases, then as a sports coordinator at the day center. He was later a member of the family and social reintegration team while studying law. In 2016, he became the direct manager of the child reintegration program and later an assistant to the late Jean Bosco, who was the Director of Kimbilio until his heartbreaking passing during the pandemic.
I asked Rodrique what he likes most about his job. He said it's the moment of reintegrating a child into their biological family since it's the ideal environment for their development and growth. He also loves to see the children succeed in life because that's a key objective of Kimbilio's work. As an example he spoke to the success of Pascal Kameya, once a child in Kimbilio's care and now a mechanics teacher at the Kimbilio Mapendo School.
Rodrigue is married and the father of two beautiful children. He holds a degree in Private and Judicial Law, specializing in child protection, from the University of Lubumbashi. Currently, he is pursuing a Master's degree in Criminology, always at the University of Lubumbashi. He is a lawyer admitted to the Court of Appeal.
Congo Children Trust is immensely grateful for Rodrigue's leadership and dedication.
