A new milestone for Kumi Foundation and Congo Children Trust
Congo Children Trust and Kumi Foundation celebrate a new milestone in a longstanding relationship
Congo Children Trust is delighted to announce the signing of a collaboration agreement with Kumi Foundation. This is a milestone in a shared journey stretching back more than a decade. The agreement cements that long standing relationship as it continues to strengthen, deepening our shared commitment to brighter futures for vulnerable children and young people in DR Congo.

Kumi Foundation is a UK-based charitable organisation that connects businesses and investors with grassroots organisations to build partnerships for long-term social impact. Through strategic support and organisational development, it helps charities such as Congo Children Trust strengthen their work and extend their reach.
Building on more than a decade of connection
CCT is proud to be Kumi Foundation’s first charity partner. Kumi Foundation builds on the expertise of Kumi Consulting, a global advisory firm experienced in helping businesses navigate complex supply chain risks in some of the world’s most challenging environments.
Reflecting on the significance of the agreement, Ian Harvey, Founder and CEO of Congo Children Trust, said :
“Their support has already made a valuable contribution to strengthening CCT, helping us think strategically about how we can grow our impact and become more effective in supporting our local partner, Kimbilio. The agreement gives this continuing collaboration a clearer framework and a strong foundation for the years ahead.”
Isabelle Bryan, Chair of Congo Children Trust, added:
“For CCT, this agreement reflects the trust, understanding and shared commitment to supporting communities in the mining regions of DRC, built through more than a decade of connection.”
A shared commitment to build hopeful futures
Together, we aim to strengthen Kimbilio’s work in Lubumbashi, where vulnerable young people are supported through education, vocational training and pathways into dignified employment. Helping young people develop practical skills and access sustainable livelihoods creates opportunities that benefit individuals, families and whole communities.
