Fourteen year old Gloria is living with her biological family again! She had left her maternal aunt's house because of mistreatment, and was fortunate to have had local social services workers of the Congolese government, with whom we partner, transfer dGloria to Kimbilio. She's been at our transit house for girls for the past 6 months while our team performed the consuming work of seeking out and building a relationship with her family. Pascal came to Kimbilio as an orphan when he was 8 years old. With his parents gone, he had ended up on the streets for two years after his aunts would no longer keep him at home.
